Shelving without corners and edges - Here our designers have once more resorted to Mother Nature's design archive. And as always the result is something beautiful and stylish. This object is shelving for CDs, even if at first sight it seems to have nothing in common with the conventional shape of a shelf unit. Nevertheless this attractive piece of furniture in the shape of a snail’s shell fulfils its practical function and will hold 150 CDs. Its surprising shape doesn't affect the practical use of the Snail Silver shelf unit in the least, and only makes it look more decorative and original. Why shouldn't a rectangular shelf unit be round?
