We Decorate the World - KARE in-house fair 05 - 12 July 2024

WHAT ATTRACTS CUSTOMERS TO THE SHOPS NOW

Munich/Garching, 25 June 2024; In the 2,800 square metre showroom, the brand will be presenting decorative innovations with the typical KARE momentum in a sophisticated boutique concept. 

Innovative new additions to the furniture segment include smart solutions for upholstered furniture. 

 Models with a design factor are being launched, which are available in both an outdoor version and an indoor version. Removable, rainproof covers for the outdoor models are available within 10 days. The successful KARE+Studio Divani series is also being expanded with new sofa models. Both the indoor and outdoor collections as well as the Studio Divani novelties will be presented in the showroom as show cases for the POS.

Living trend 2024 Milan Furniture Fair: Eccentric elegance

April 2024; KARE Design GmbH, based in Germany, is reliably providing wow effects at the Salone del Mobile. The big trend show for this year's trade fair appearance is entitled: "Eccentric Elegance". The company, which has 120 franchise partners in 50 countries, has been writing a success story for over 40 years with its stylistic capers and extravagant home designs.

Third shop open in Manila

Munich/Germany, June 23, 2023; KARE's unmistakably eclectic mix of styles is a "perfect fit" for the lifestyle of the Philippine capital. Diversity, experience and cosmopolitan living worlds for capital city residents have been offered by KARE in Manila since 2020. Now the third KARE branch is open. The 500-square-metre location with a completely glazed front is located in the financial district of Bonifacio Global City with its high purchasing power, in the arcades of the luxurious Shangri-La Hotel. Franchise: First KARE shop opens in Mexico

Munich-Germany, May 23, 2023; If you're going to go for it, go for it: KARE CEO Peter Schönhofen is launching his market entry in Mexico in the capital city of Mexico City. The first mono-brand shop is going online directly in the capital Mexico City and in a prime location. The green district of Chapultepec is a lifestyle hot spot and scores with historic villas from the 1920s, museums and the country's largest park. Those who live there combine lifestyle with business. The 500-square-metre franchise shop with a completely glazed front also attracts residents from the city, for whom Chapultepec is a popular shopping and excursion destination.

Trade fair premiere:
KARE for the first time at the Esprit Meuble in Paris

Garching-Hochbrück, 07.11.2022; With a new type of pop-up stand, the home furnishing company will be participating for the first time at the Paris trade fair in November. The Munich-based company will also open the new year’s series of trade fairs with its brought-forward international in-house fair Redboxx Days from 13 January 2023 and will be exhibiting at the January Maison&Objet.
With their additional trade fair appearance at Esprit Meuble, CEOs Jürgen Reiter and Peter Schönhofen want to send a signal to the industry.

KARE Franchise Expansion: Second shop opens in Canada

Garching-Hochbrück, October 2022; With a “front-row” appearance on the shores of Lake Ontario, KARE is now also taking off in Toronto. With the first shop in Vancouver in the west, KARE CEO Peter Schönhofen had already successfully entered the Canadian market.

Successful launch at Maison & Objet fair Paris: New KARE shop concept convinces the trade

Garching-Hochbrück, 14.09.2022; KARE CEO Peter Schönhofen reports a good mood from Paris. The Munich-based furniture brand surprised visitors to the stand not only with their eye-catching new products. As a system provider from shop-in-shop to franchise, KARE presented new building blocks for the POS to provide answers to the current consumer climate. The concepts passed their acid test in the recently opened KARE City Studio in Munich.

Third KARE Shop opens in the USA: American Dream in California

Garching-Hochbrück; 29th August 2022; The names of the cities Palm Springs and Palm Desert in the Coachella Valley immediately trigger the imagination. This is where the rich and beautiful reside in their holiday villas, where free spirits and VIPs celebrate the Coachella Festival and where joie de vivre is writ large. In Rancho Mirage, where glamour and lifestyle are at home amidst grandiose landscapes, the American Kare franchise partner opened its second US branch. “This location is a bull’s eye for our brand,” says Kare CEO Peter Schönhofen, praising his business partner Peter Skanning’s choice of location. 

Back in the centre of Munich: KARE the City Studio

Munich/Garching-Hochbrück, July 2022; In the middle of Munich’s mid-summer hustle and bustle, KARE is once again opening the doors to its creative living worlds in the Sendlinger Straße pedestrian zone. More compact and with a new retail concept, Munich entrepreneurs Jürgen Reiter and Peter Schönhofen are thus flying the flag in the city centre. The completely redesigned space of the 500-square-metre shop has little to do with a traditional furniture shop. Its design with changing exhibitions invites Instagram photos and networking. And touching is expressly allowed in the KARE City Studio, because KARE has always been committed to experiential retail. For the reopening, the homely brand presents itself under the motto “Golden Jungle”.

Montenegro: Stand-alone shop opens in the capital Podgorica 

Garching-Hochbrück, 04 July 2022; The new KARE franchise store in the Montenegrin capital Podgorica is an architectural eye-catcher. Located on the central shopping mile for home and garden, the all-round glazed new building with its wide overhanging roof attracts all eyes. Floor-to-ceiling windows draw attention to the homely opening displays on around 750 square metres: the public highlights are the trend themes of modernity and glamour. Glamour was also the order of the day at the opening event with lots of celebrities and politicians, because in the Balkan republic on the south-eastern Adriatic, the KARE brand is established in the luxury and lifestyle segment.

Third KARE franchise shop in Bulgaria: KARE opens in the design hotspot Plovdiv 

Garching-Hochbrück, 03.06.2022; Wherever relaxed lifestyle and enjoyment are at home, design fans love the KARE brand. This is also the case in Sofia, where KARE CEO Peter Schönhofen brought his eccentric home creations from Munich 10 years ago. Two KARE stores are now located there. Together with Bulgarian franchise partner Tsvetomir Dushkov and Marketing Manager Metodi Aleksiev, the online shop www.kare.bg also went online. The opening of the third shop in Plovdiv at the end of May was finally another event in true KARE style. Schönhofen did not miss the opportunity to come and personally cut the red ribbon. With 150 guests, media, influencers, DJ, dancers, a fire show and a nationally famous presenter, the party went on. Celebrating and seeing and being seen fits the lifestyle of Plovdiv, as Bulgaria’s second largest city is a stronghold for design and lifestyle.

Trend decoration: Why you should hire a BUTLER as soon as possible

Garching-Hochbrueck, May 20th 2022; These household helpers are guaranteed to conquer everyone’s hearts: the KARE butlers not only faithfully perform their tasks 24/7, but are perhaps the most charming decorative idea of the year. Maritime trend decoration with sea ceatures

Garching-Hochbrueck, April 2022; We are now kidnapping mysterious creatures from the deep sea as an original decoration idea for sideboards and dining tables. For example, the clever octopus, which makes itself useful with its 8 arms: as a candlestick or bottle holder, for example. Or a whale cooling the wine at the garden party. The longing for more from the sea is satisfied by glamorous palm tree lights, a screen with a beach backdrop – and for the brave, an XL-sized great white shark for the shelf. Opening in Lagos: KARE now with two shops in Nigeria

Garching-Hochbrueck, April 19th, 2022; Skyscrapers and big business, megacity and markets, 14 million inhabitants and the prophecy of growing into the largest city in the world – that is Lagos in Nigeria. After Abuja, the country’s capital, KARE now marks a second location in Nigeria on the Gulf of Guinea on its world map with franchise partners. The palm tree-lined shop with fully glazed fronts on two floors is located on Victoria Island. The island attached to the city is considered an economic and social centre. KARE CEO Peter Schönhofen considers the location ideal: “Victoria Island is booming, new villa districts are being built here and trendy restaurants and luxury shops are concentrated here. Our business partner knows where to find the discerning lifestyle clientele.” Franchise partner Bi Feuser-Ajidahun has been swearing by the lifestyle concept of the homely brand for around 20 years. Adept at retailing luxury brands like Fendi and Vissonnaire, she is also the boss of KARE Abuja.

Seventh KARE Shop opens in Spain: This is why Spaniards love the Munich lifestyle

Garching-Hochbrück, 24 February 2022; Barcelona, Marbella, Figueres, Ibiza, Mallorca, Marbella – wherever relaxed luxury, Mediterranean joie de vivre and indulgence are at home, there is also a Kare shop. Now, in Torrevieja too, the red carpet is rolled out for the discerning clientele of top earners on 1,100 square metres of exhibition space.

Annual balance 2021: KARE continues to grow

“We put our customers on the winning side,” is how the Kare management starts the new financial year. The Munich-based company’s successful annual statement, which shows a growth rate of 12 per cent for 2021, proves that this motto is well-founded. The success is not only measured by the increase in turnover. The number of franchisees is also growing. 13 more KARE stores opened their doors in 2021, among others in Bolivia, Lagos and the Philippines. Kare is also connecting its franchise partners to the network with additional national online shops.

Market entry in the Philippines: First KARE shop opens in Manila 

Garching-Hochbrück, 02. December 2021; Kare CEO Peter Schönhofen has landed a top class partner for the expansion of his franchise network. The opening of a first shop in the Philippine capital Manila now marks the start of the cooperation. “We are both family entrepreneurs and speak the same language,” says Schönhofen about the new business partner. He already operates 350 retail shops in the Southeast Asian country. His focus is on exclusive, international brands. Another Kare branch in Manila will follow in December. In the coming year, the opening of at least two additional Kare shops in the Philippines is already being planned.
